Really? It’s been how long??????

So I’ve had an influx of spam on this blog and finally came in to do some clean up. I was shocked and ashamed to see it’s been 4 YEARS, yes FOUR YEARS since I’ve posted anything about this amazing child of mine.

I look back to see some of the early stories and I’m so sad that I haven’t kept it up. These are the fun daily things that happen that are so easily forgotten as time passes. Now this precious girl is 8 years old, in 3rd grade and seems to be growing before my very eyes.

This is the same girl who…

• when moving from MA to NM and was in the car for four days, took 1 nap and watched 1 movie… the entire trip! At age 5. she was awesome her response. She read the map, kept Loki company and played on her DS. I know she won’t remember much about that journey (maybe about having to deal with a sever case of Head Lice she got from her old school in Chicopee, or maybe the winds in Santa Rosa that just about knocked her down), but I doubt she’ll remember what an absolute joy she was to travel with.
• got her very own dog at age 6 called Bella. She’s always had an affinity for the name Isabelle and I think Bella’s name is proof of that. Two years later Bella still sleeps with her at night (taking up most of the bed with her long dangly legs).
• is starting to really like and get clothes
• is super tech savvy
• Is kind and hates a bully or someone who isn’t truthful
• still amazes me every single day…
