Sharing…

We’ve been working on teaching Haley about sharing for awhile. Sometimes it seems like she’s gotten it and then other times, she’s quite protective of the object to be shared.

Last week we were walking around the mall and got an ice cream cone from Dairy Queen. This child LOVES ice cream. She and I always share a cone and that’s normally good. On this particular night though, she finished off our cone quite quickly and looked over to her dads and in the sweetest little voice said, “Daddy, don’t you want to share with me?”

Okay, so she’s at least gotten the sharing thing down from the receiving standpoint, hopefully we’re not too far off on the giving. 🙂
